человѣкъ.
Вечеръ,
который
представилъ
возможность
прихожанамъ
общаться въ
дружескомъ
и братскомъ
духѣ,
прошелъ
очень
успѣшно.

Ясыкъ, Наталiи

Александрѣ
Романовской
и всѣмъ
труженикамъ.

19th, 2008
On
Friday, October 17th, a fall fundraiser dance was hosted by our parish
on the banks of the beautiful Navesink River, at which over 120 guests
were in attendance. The evening was a great success, and an
opportunity for parishioners to socialize and spend time together in a
friendly and brotherly atmosphere. The dance was held for the purpose
of raising money toward the continued restoration of the church. Such
a fantastic event would not be possible without the tireless efforts
and dedication of the organizers, namely Matushka Marguerita,
Elizabeth Yasuk, Natalia Rogozenski, Alexandra Romanovsky and others.

for photographs from the dance. After the Divine Liturgy on Sunday,
October 19th, the rector honored parishioners Victor G. Karcha and
Orestes B. Chornyy on behalf of the parish. O.B. Chornyy, along with
his assistants, installed a new sacrarium, along with cabinets and
running water, in the altar. V.G. Karcha, over the course of this last
week, installed a new brick staircase at the main entrance to the
church. Fr. Serge presented them with icons of St. Nicholas and
thanked them wholeheartedly for their excellent and selfless work.

сестричество
угостило
всѣхъ
присутствующихъ
чуднымъ
ужиномъ и

ужина
дѣтки
порадовали
всѣхъ
своимъ
концертомъ.
Послѣ
концерта
настоятель
передалъ
отцу
Николую
пожертвованiе
отъ всего
прихода въ
сумѣ $3.250,00 на
нужды
Обители
Милосердiя.

On
Saturday, October 11th, the family of Archpriest Nicholas Stremsky
visited St. Nicholas Church. Fr. Nicholas and Matushka Galina are
widely known in Russia as the parents of the biggest Russian family.
Beginning in 1992, they adopted over 70 orphans into their loving and
caring family. Father Nicholas is the rector of the Holy Trinity
Cloister of Mercy in Saraktash in the Orenburg and Buzuluk Diocese of
the Moscow Patriarchate. The children adorned the All-Night Vigil with
their angelic singing, while Fr. Nicholas and Fr. Leonid served. Upon
completion of the All-Night Vigil, the sisterhood hosted a dinner for
all those present, while the children performed a concert of Russian
folk music. Fr. Serge presented Fr. Nicholas a check for $3,250.00 on
behalf of the parish for the needs of the Cloister of Mercy. Click here

встрѣча
чудотворной
мvроточивой
иконы Св.
Праведной
Анны, и
затѣмъ
торжественная
Божественная
Литургiя.
Литургiю
возглавилъ

Аѳанасiй
Мастальскiй,
и ему
сослужили
настоятель
храма, Iерей
Николай
Мандюкъ, Iерей
Зоранъ, Iером.
Евтихiй и
вышеупомянутые
священнодiаконы.
По окончанiи
службы
раздавались
вѣрующимъ
иконы Преп.
Сергiя,
изданы
Издательствомъ
въ честь
праздника
своего
небеснаго
покровителя.
Также
раздавались
иконы Св.
Прав. Анны.
Послѣ
литургiи
сестричество
устроило
трапезу, за
которой
чествовали
Отца Сергiя
по случаю
его
тезоименитства.
За
трапезой
провозгласили
многочисленныя
привѣтствiя
отцу
настоятелю
отъ
Высокопреосвященнѣйшаго
Митрополита
Иларiона,
отъ
Высокопреосвященнѣйшаго
Митрополита
Онуфрiя
Черновицкаго
и
Буковинскаго,
отъ
настоятельницы
и сестеръ
Геѳсиманской
обители,
отъ
начальницы
дружины „Царское
Село“ (О.Р.Ю.Р.)
и многихъ
другихъ.
Трудно

благодать,
которую
всѣ
присутствующiе
переживали
во время
праздника,
и особенно
во время
акаѳиста и
встрѣчи
чудотворной
иконы.

On Tuesday, October 7th, on the eve of the feastday of St. Sergius of
Radonezh, an All-Night Vigil was served in St. Nicholas Church. The
rector led the Vigil, serving with Archpriest George Kallaur, Fr.
Zoran Radovic (cleric of the Serbian Orthodox Church), Hieromonk
Eutychius, Protodeacon Joseph Jaroschuk, Protodeacon Paul Wolkow, and
Deacon Leonid Roschko. During the polyeleos, the entire church sang an
akathist to St. Sergius. The Vigil was enriched by wonderful
antiphonal hymns between the mixed choir and the male choir. On
Wednesday morning, the miraculous myrrh-streaming icon of St. Anna was
greeted, followed by the Divine Liturgy. Archimandrate Athanasius led
the Divine Liturgy and was joined by the parish rector, Fr. Nicholas
Manduke, Fr. Zoran, Fr. Eutychius, and the above-mentioned deacons.
Upon completion of the service, small icons of St. Sergius, printed by
the St. Sergius Publishing House in honor of their patron saint's
feastday, were handed out to the faithful, along with icons of St.
Anna. After the Liturgy, the sisterhood held a festive luncheon in
honor of Fr. Serge's namesday. During the luncheon, congratulatory
greetings were read from His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion, from His
Eminence, Metropolitan Onuphrius of Chernovtsy and Bukovina, from the
Abbess and sisters of the Gethsemane convent in Jerusalem, from the
scoutmaster of the "Tsarskoe Selo" Division of St. George
Pathfinders, and from many others. It is hard to express the grace
felt by those present for the feastday, especially during the akathist
and greeting of the miraculous icon of St. Anna. Indeed, "God is
wondrous in His saints." The editorial staff of the official
