With the blessing of the rector, our choir director, Reader
Nektary, participated in the Official Transfer of the Danilov Bells at
Harvard University on July 8th. Reader Nektary was asked to sing with
the Synodal Choir under the direction of Peter Fekula. Archimandrite
Aleksey, the abbot of the Danilov Monastery in Moscow, led the
services and celebrations in honor of the transfer of the original
bells from Harvard University back to the Danilov Monastery. For more

11th, 2008
With the blessing of His Eminence, Metropolitan Hilarion,
parish secretary Reader Gregory Levitsky traveled to Russia on a
pilgrimage to the holy sites of the Moscow Diocese. On July 6th,
the feastday of the Greeting of the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of
God, Reader Gregory participated in the divine services at the
Patriarchal Cathedral of Christ the Savior. Before the beginning
of the All-Night Vigil, several English-language service books
were given to Archpriest Nicholas Gostev on behalf of our parish,
as a gift to the Cathedral. Fr. Nicholas expressed his sincere
gratitude to our rector, Fr. Serge. Reader Gregory also visited
the Sretenskiy Monastery and several other holy sites in the
Patriarchal See.

1st, 2008
On
Sunday June 29th, upon completion of the Liturgy, the rector
publicly thanked and honored Victor Vasilievich Teterin who was
extremely helpful during the renovation of the church. Fr. Serge
presented an icon of St. Nicholas on behalf of the parish to
Viktor Vasielivich. Fr. Leonid proclaimed many years to the
servant of God Victor.
