GREAT FEAST OF EPIPHANY

BLESSING
OF THE WATERS IN THE
NAVESINK RIVER
on January 19th, 2008
PROCESSION WILL BEGIN PROMPTLY AT 1 PM AT

Divine Liturgy will begin at 10:00 AM followed by the Great Blessing of the Water in the church. A procession will
begin immediately after the service down to the shores of the Navesink River where we will bless the waters of the river.
After the blessing of the water, the children will release the doves as is the tradition for Epiphany. This great feast will
mark the beginning of celebrations for the centennial anniversary of the city of Red Bank. The Honorable Mayor Pasquale Menna,
along with city officials, will join our parish in this historic event for our church and the city of Red Bank.
